Welcome to the B4 Manga Submission Portal (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “B4 Manga”).

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the B4 Manga Submission Portal (the “Portal”). By accessing or using the Portal, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Portal.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to register for an account and use the Portal.
By using the Portal, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

2. User Accounts

To access submission features, you must create a Submissions Account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Keep your information updated
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Not allow others to access your account

B4 Manga may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or contain false or misleading information.

3. Purpose of the Portal

The Portal is designed solely for creators to submit materials for editorial review and potential publication consideration.

The Portal is:

• Not a public posting platform
• Not a marketplace or community forum
• Accessible only to authorized B4 Manga personnel

4. Portal Ownership

B4 Manga retains all rights to the Portal, including its design, code, systems, trademarks, and branding.
These Terms do not grant you any rights to B4 Manga intellectual property.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harmful content
• Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Misrepresent your identity or ownership
• Interfere with Portal functionality or security

Violations may result in suspension or permanent account termination.

6. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time using Portal tools or by contacting support.

B4 Manga may terminate accounts for:

• Violations of these Terms
• Misuse or abuse of the Portal

Minimal archival data may be retained to ensure system integrity and prevent duplicate abuse.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Portal is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
B4 Manga makes no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy, or functionality.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, B4 Manga is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Use or inability to use the Portal
• Technical failures or data loss
• Unauthorized access

9. Privacy & Data Handling

Use of the Portal is also governed by B4 Manga’s data practices as outlined in the Submission Agreement and related privacy disclosures.

10. Changes to These Terms

B4 Manga may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Portal constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.

Disputes shall first be addressed through good‑faith discussion.
Unresolved disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in Denver, Colorado, under American Arbitration Association rules.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have regarding your personal data. It applies solely to the B4 Manga Submission Portal and related submission activities.

By accessing or using the Portal, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We collect and use your information only for legitimate business and editorial purposes, including to:

• Create and manage your Submissions Account
• Review, evaluate, and track creative submissions
• Communicate with you about submission status or inquiries
• Maintain internal records and prevent duplicate submissions
• Improve Portal functionality and security
• Comply with legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations

We do not use submissions for public display, advertising, or promotional purposes without your explicit written permission.

3. Confidentiality of Submissions

All creative submissions are treated as confidential.

Access to submissions and related data is strictly limited to authorized B4 Manga editors, reviewers, contractors, and staff involved in:

• Editorial evaluation
• Project administration
• Technical platform maintenance

We do not sell, publish, or publicly share your submissions or personal data.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

• Your consent when you register and submit materials
• Performance of a contract (review and administration of submissions)
• Legitimate business interests (editorial review, platform security, record‑keeping)
• Compliance with legal obligations

5. Data Retention

We retain personal and submission data only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill editorial, operational, and legal purposes.

• Active submissions are retained during the review period
• Rejected or withdrawn submissions are removed from active systems
• Deleted accounts enter a 30‑day pending deletion period, after which associated personal data is permanently erased

We may retain limited archival metadata (e.g., project title, author name, submission date) solely to maintain accurate records and prevent duplicate submissions.

6. Your Rights & Choices

You have the right to:

• Access and review your personal information
• Request a copy (export) of your personal data
• Update or correct inaccurate information
• Withdraw submissions
• Delete your account

Once deletion is finalized, your data cannot be recovered.

Requests can be made through your account dashboard or by contacting B4 Manga directly.

7. Data Security

B4 Manga implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including:

• Restricted staff access
• Secure storage environments
• Authentication and account security measures

While we take data security seriously, no system is completely secure. Use of the Portal is at your own risk.

8. Third‑Party Service Providers

B4 Manga Submission Agreement

This Submission Agreement governs all creative materials submitted through the B4 Manga Submission Portal (“Submission,” “you,” or “your”).

By submitting materials, you agree to the terms below.

1. Nature of Submissions

The Portal allows creators to submit original:

• Story concepts
• Scripts or manuscripts
• Artwork or visual materials
• Related creative content

Submissions are made solely for editorial review and evaluation.

2. Ownership of Submissions

a. Your Rights

You retain full ownership and copyright to all submitted materials.

By submitting, you grant B4 Manga a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable license to:

• Review and evaluate the submission
• Temporarily store or reproduce it internally
• Communicate with you regarding the submission

No rights are transferred unless a separate written publishing agreement is executed.

3. Confidentiality

All submissions are treated as confidential.

Your materials:

• Are accessible only to authorized B4 Manga staff
• Will not be publicly displayed or distributed without your written consent

4. Representations and Warranties

By submitting, you represent that:

• The submission is original or you have full authority to submit it
• It does not infringe any third‑party rights
• All collaborators or co‑creators have been disclosed

5. No Guarantee of Acceptance

Submission does not guarantee:

• Review
• Feedback
• Response
• Publication

Evaluation occurs at B4 Manga’s sole discretion.
If you receive no response within 60 days, the submission should be considered not accepted at this time.

6. Similar Ideas & Independent Development

You acknowledge that B4 Manga may independently develop projects similar to your submission.

You waive claims based on:

• Coincidental similarities
• Parallel or independent development

7. Withdrawal of Submissions

You may withdraw a submission at any time by deleting your account or contacting B4 Manga.

Upon withdrawal:

• Submissions are removed from active systems
• Minimal archival data (title, author, submission date) may be retained for record consistency

8. Submission Data & Privacy

a. Data Collected

• Account data (name, email, contact info)
• Submission files and metadata
• Operational data (timestamps, status, review notes)

b. Use of Data

Used to:

• Manage submissions
• Track editorial review
• Communicate with you
• Prevent duplicates

c. Retention & Deletion

• When requesting account deletion a pone competition all data is permanently deleted and erased and can’t be recovered.

d. Security

Reasonable technical safeguards are used, but no system is fully secure. Submission is at your own risk.

e. Third‑Party Services

Trusted third parties may be used solely to operate the Portal under strict confidentiality obligations.

B4 Manga Artist Submission Agreement

This Artist Submission Agreement (“Agreement”) governs all artwork and visual materials submitted by an artist (“Artist,” “you,” or “your”) to B4 Manga through the B4 Manga Submission Portal or any authorized B4 Manga submission channel (“Submission”).

By submitting artwork, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Nature of Artist Submissions

B4 Manga accepts original artistic and visual materials, including but not limited to:

• Illustrations
• Character designs
• Concept art
• Sequential manga or comic pages
• Covers, layouts, and visual samples

Submissions are made solely for editorial review and evaluation for potential collaboration or publication consideration.

2. Ownership of Artwork

a. Artist Rights

You retain full ownership and copyright to all artwork and materials you submit.

By submitting artwork, you grant B4 Manga a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable license to:

• Review and evaluate your submission internally
• Temporarily store or reproduce the artwork for editorial purposes
• Share the artwork internally with authorized B4 Manga editors, reviewers, and staff
• Communicate with you regarding your submission

No ownership, publishing, licensing, or commercial rights are transferred unless a separate written agreement (including but not limited to an Artist Agreement, Publishing Agreement, or Work‑for‑Hire Agreement) is executed.

3. Confidentiality of Artwork

All artist submissions are treated as confidential.

Your artwork:

• Is accessible only to authorized B4 Manga personnel
• Will not be publicly displayed, published, posted, or distributed without your prior written consent
• Will not be used in marketing, promotion, or commercial materials without a separate written agreement

4. Representations and Warranties

By submitting artwork, you represent and warrant that:

• The artwork is your original creation, or you have full legal authority to submit it
• The artwork does not infringe upon any third‑party rights, including copyright, trademark, moral, or publicity rights
• Any collaborators, assistants, or co‑artists have been fully disclosed
• The submission does not violate any laws, agreements, or contractual obligations

5. Prohibition of AI‑Generated Artwork

B4 Manga does not accept AI‑generated artwork in any form.

By submitting artwork, you represent and warrant that:

• All submitted artwork is entirely human‑created
• No part of the submission was generated, assisted, synthesized, altered, upscaled, or derived from artificial intelligence tools, including but not limited to:
• Generative AI models
• Machine‑learning image generators
• Prompt‑based, diffusion‑based, or neural network systems
• No AI tools were used at any stage of the creative process, including:
• Concept creation
• Sketching
• Rendering
• Inking
• Coloring
• Final image generation

This prohibition applies regardless of the level of modification, including partial AI use, over‑painting, photobashing, post‑processing, or so‑called “AI‑assisted” workflows.

B4 Manga reserves the right to:

• Request clarification regarding an artist’s creative process
• Reject or remove submissions suspected of AI generation
• Suspend or terminate accounts that submit AI‑generated content

Submission of AI‑generated artwork constitutes a material breach of this Agreement.

6. No Guarantee of Acceptance or Engagement

Submission of artwork does not guarantee:

• Review
• Feedback
• Communication
• Assignment, employment, or commissioning
• Publication

All submissions are evaluated at B4 Manga’s sole discretion.
If you receive no response within sixty (60) days, your submission should be considered not accepted at this time.

7. Similar Artwork & Independent Development

You acknowledge that B4 Manga may already be developing, or may independently develop in the future, artwork, characters, stories, or concepts that are similar to your submission.

You waive any claims arising from:

• Coincidental similarities
• Parallel or independent development
• Unintentional resemblance

8. Withdrawal of Artist Submissions

You may withdraw your artwork submission at any time by deleting your account or contacting B4 Manga.

Upon withdrawal:

• Artwork is removed from active review systems
• Minimal archival data (artist name, submission title, submission date) may be retained solely for record consistency and duplicate‑submission prevention

9. Artist Data & Privacy

a. Data Collected

• Account data (name, email, contact information)
• Submitted artwork files and metadata
• Operational data (timestamps, submission status, review notes)

b. Use of Data

Artist data is used to:

• Manage artist submissions
• Conduct editorial review
• Communicate submission status
• Maintain internal records

c. Retention & Deletion

Upon completed account deletion, all submission data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered, except where minimal archival records are legally or operationally required.

d. Security

Reasonable technical safeguards are used, but no system is entirely secure. Submission is at your own risk.

e. Third‑Party Services

Trusted third‑party service providers may be used solely to operate the submission system under strict confidentiality and data‑protection obligations.
